flashed in france
Discussion
If you get caught and stopped, 40km or more over the limit, you risk being banned on the spot at the side of the road, together with an on the spot deposit of 750 euros towards the fine to be imposed at a later court date. Acordingly it would be a good idea to set your brick at no more than say 35km over the limit.

20 kmh over I wouldn't worry about it.
40 kmh over I would worry about it.
Mind you, if in the next few weeks you get some mysterious letter
from France, and you don't read French, then how are you going
to know what to do next ?
Get it professional translated, or file it ?

snap, I did this on 29th December 2006. It went from a 130 down to a 110, I stayed at 130kph, FLASH! went a roadside camera. I forgot to say cheese and smile, but there you go. Hopefully any future Euro agreements will not be retrospective???
