Just keep you all updated. Im up in court on monday pleading not guilty for racing. The other guy who was with me got a 2year ban back in january. Any final advice on how to look, act on the day?

cant believe its nearly a year ago it happened,
late april. amazing how they let you drive for so long after it happens. Cant be that much of a danger to the roads.

My advice would be;

Look smart
Dont cain it into the car park, wont go down well!
Plenty of remorse
Dont appear cocky
Maybe even cry?

(Pack the soap on a rope, just in case)

Please guilty. Take it like a man.

You were, you got caught, it will actually help you. and perhaps you will learn and live to fight another day before you end up crashing into some poor bugg'r you meet tearing around the industrial estates racing.

do go-carting if you want racing.

Only when people who race on the highway - and know it - plead not guilty and take up tax payers money fighting for their "rights"

Definatly get your barrister to do a deal with CPS prior to court.

CPS would rather go in with a guaranteed 30 day ban / big fine than risk getting nothing.

<~ was up in frint of a judge who took the train instead of driving last year, and realised that not everyone appreciates the subtleties of a four wheel drift in a Cerb!

I think you did pretty well all things considered Zero. It will go past quicker than you dread I should think.

Were you offered any incentive to take advanced driving courses/resit test or anything to decrease the punishment?

ouch. Sorry mate, but look on it like this - plenty of time to drunk, and yoo'll be older & wiser when you're back on the road. Sounds a bit rough, but you got no points, and once it's gone, you won't be looking over your shoulder like a 10 pointer would be.

Your insurance is gonna go through the roof of a very tall multi-storey building.

And having a ban greater than 56 days means it will affect any future meetings you may have with a court over driving related matters.

Bad luck.

You will be suprised at how fast that 12 months will pass, i know, Drink what you like as late as you like, but yes on the down side, re- insurance might require a few phone calls next March
