When you take out insurance, they offer you the Legal Protection thing for a few extra quid (actually, quite a lot for some of them).

Anyway, if you have two cars on two separate policies from separate companies (i.e. Specialist for your P&J and Regular for your mule)....is the legal protection tied to the car on the policy, or can you call them to assist in any car?

Hi

Generally the policy is attached to the car, however if you were say injured in a car accident your legal representative/solicitor, would ask you to check all your insurance policies to see if you have the appropriate legal expenses cover. This would include all your motor policies as well as any household insurance that you may have.

If you want a free one drop me an email and i will post you one of ours, Autocare legal protection Ltd. The companies that provide these legal protection products generally make their money when their clients have an accident and need a hire car/vehicle repairs or possibly they may have been injured.

Hope that helps
