for a 52reg luxury ka, with 1 offence of racing on the highway. DOB - (19) 03/04/84

Could some please gimme an idea or an actual quote from somewhere as im not up to the task of saying that on the phone. Id crease up although its not funny.

Try Bid4MyBusiness - they provided the best quote for my S3 (£1,100 cheaper than the AA). Adrian Flux may also be worth a shot - they do 'specialist' insurance so could be good for you circumstances.

It's very broken. Selecting
"Immobiliser: Standard Fit Cat 2" it
asks who fitted it. It also allows the
selection of "Immobiliser: Cat 1" - there's no such thing.

And how do they get the car details from the Reg No?

Insists on knowing if a non-existent second vehicle is insured in your name.

I gave up at the point.

Pretty much all the insurance quote systems do that - I think they have a link through to the DVLA, although the results seem a bit patchy sometimes!
