yes, it's the cctv van.

Used for many things, including disorder to film offenders.

Its great at football matches or groups of yobbo disorder. Wave and if you see a really ugly copper waving back it may be me.

hth
Mike.

Hmmm, that is an odd place. I know sometimes we have plotted up near tormarton with the anpr camera on.

(This is the one that 'pings' stolen cars and those with criminal reports on rather than speeders )

I will make some enquiries..........

I've seen one of these high tech vans parked up in a supermarket car park in a town centre over night. I suspect there were people on board but all was quiet. No sign of anybody on board. Thing is, it's to expensive to just leave out over night?

What do you think Mike? It was a cctv police transit. Would it have been filming covertly?

Not usually left filming without a bod inside boosted. Sometimes vehicles are left in places where disorder or crime may occur but these are usually patrol cars.

There may have been someone inside, it's a good place to be sometimes, at least you avoid the bottles. hehe They are a really good thing to have especially in football where they can pinpoint the regular thugs easily, which minimises large organised disorder.

(Doughnut stowage areas inside as well)

Thanks Mike,

It was strange to see it parked up away from the police station. Nothing happening outside either. They probably had a very quiet night. i figured there may be somebody on board.
