I seem to recall that the funding mechanism for local scamera outfits has recently changed, and that therefore the regulations regarding "netting off" the scam proceeds potentially are different.

Do the mobile scameras still have to be visible and signposted for the pratnerships to continue to receive funding for their illicit operation, or can they now hide and operate covertly?

Anyone noticed any changes in the siting or operation of mobile vans since the funding changes?

The one who sits outside the Kellogs factory in Trafford Park has been noticeable by its absence for a couple of weeks, now.

Well, there was one outside a school (well, hidden at the gates) just the other day. I thought that was rather good, but obviously the police misread their calendar because it was Easter Monday..................

I noted with interest from the Sussex Pratnership web site that they were unable to deploy any mobile units on Good Friday or Easter Monday, but were quite happy to go out on the preceeding Sunday. rolleyes

Clearly the roads are a safer place on Bank Holidays ..... rolleyes

I got a mail from the West Yorks lot telling me I could have the locations texted to my mobile at 50p a go now. Wonder if they are short of cash

Does anyone else think it is somewhat ironic to suggest that speed kills, but to then publish the locations so people can speed everywhere else?!?!?
