A well known alcoholic neighbour of ours, who regularly drives her young children around whilst under the influence, has been see catching the bus lately !

However she has also been seen driving other vehicles she would not normally be associated with, although there is nothing wrong with her own car.

We suspect she had been banned for DD but is contiuing to drive.

How can we find out if and when she may have been banned?

Just tell the Police of your suspicions (giving them the details of the cars she is using) & they can look into it.

Thanks Boys.

Still keen to know if it is possible to check on somebody's conviction for drink driving.

Surely such a conviction should be in the public domain?

If at a local court it may have been published in local press, ours has an online search facility for news items for the last 6 months, try her name in a search field.

I've also come accross court reports from our local court (scotland) whilst searching on yahoo.

If they're really an alcoholic does it actually matter if they're drink driving? I thought alcoholics were perfectly capable of driving normally under the influence of alcohol.

If they are an experienced drinker, they obviously are capable of setting their own limit.

If they are an alcoholic, they are incapable of setting any limits at all.

Are you seriously suggesting we all have a little dial, like the disabled time/parking badges that we set when we drive down to the pub?

Isn't that a criminal site to lure in well meaning members of the public?
Then they trace you and beat you up - badly.

firstly you must have a lot of spare time to be checking this womans movements but oh well its your life.

secondly why do you not ask her yourself if you are that concerned?? its a bit sly to be going behind her back when you havent even seen her be arrested by the police/ car taken by police/ bash up her car then stagger out/ seen her in court!
