Anyone on PH been pulled over by a PH Trafpol that they know of?

Or more to the point, have any trafpol pulled over a PH sticker adorned car? I was going to ask (stupidly) if a PH car would get leniency shown but judgeing by some of the BIB bashing that can go on here I doubt it.

I don't think the trafpol would possibly be able to own up to it in that context...

Be a right hoot if they did though. biggrin

Von Hosen once stopped me and let me off with a cheery 'now drive carefully' after stopping me doing 85mph in a 70mph. Well at least I think it was him, because.....[fill in your own caption]

I'm sure he stopped me recently. Grumpy middle aged bloke. Totally humourless.

They would have to catch me first! biggrin

(In other words, No, not been stopped by PH BiB, but then again, since my car has spent the past month off the road, I am not too hard to catch).

I wouldn't put any stickers (car club, political etc) on my car. I think may influence others' behaviour and attitudes, and cause me to be prejudged by the police.

If they did decide to pull you over they might have reason to lock you up, not so much for a driving offence more becuase of what it would like as I am sure that it's not an offence according to the RTA to be driving without a car. wink

My thoughts exactly, a sticker with 'Speed Matters' on the back of the car would be like red rag to a bull...

Indeed, but the CPS have indicated (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=388756) that they intend to use hearsay evidence from this Forum against Peter Ward - Streaky
