Shropshire's first speed camera that was installed with much blowing of trumpets six weeks ago was last night decapitated in a thirty seconds shower of sparks

The Shropshire Star is not yet as enlightened as one or two of the national newspapers and naturally referred to it as an act of sheer vandalism claiming that speed cameras are 100 per cent effective

Aaaaaaah bliss..... to the "safety" camera partnership.
