drunk driver gets life

a man with a history of violence toward the police who rammed a police car killing 2 officers,got sentenced to life imprisonment.the police car exploded when a white transit,driven by leon dudley rammed the police car after the officers tried to stop him sending the car 80mtrs up the dual carrageway.one officer died at the scene,the other died later in hospital.both officers leave wives and children.
he diliberatly hit the police car at an estimated speed of 80mph and footage of the impact was recorded by a police helicopter and showed the police car explode into a 'ball of flame'
when dudley was tested he was twice over the drink/drive limit.
after seeing the footage on the news,i was actualy quite shocked that some arsehole could do this.i may have had a few run-ins with the police in my time but i wouldnt want to wish that on my worst enemy.this sort of brainless scum should be put into a gas chamber and then we could save the money that it costs to keep the bastards in jail! i am a firm believer where it comes to killers that they should be dealt with in the 'eye-for-an-eye' principle,especially cop killers and child murderers.

You're right here, he only got what he deserved. Given his apparent behavioural problems I hope he serves every day of that sentence.
However as on another thread, another driver who killed a young lad just got a £200 fine. This guy had never passed a test, was alreay banned etc. Sometimes justice is done and sometimes not.

I remember when this terrible event occured the outcry, on this very forum, over the use of stingers etc by the police.
There was a debate over the use of these devices and the tactics used by the police.
Well, whilst nothing can compensate the famillies for their loss, at least this scumball got what was coming to him.MoJo.
