You've got to have a pretty healthy disregard for your own life as well as others to drive like that, there is a time and a place for driving like a and busy m-ways isnt it. I have never driven quite that badly but I tend to town it down a lot these days out of fears for my own safety! Let alone other!

Had a 160mph smash of my own in france down to a blowout which I was very very lucky to walk away from unscathed, it was a deserted road so no danger of hitting anyone else either. It proved to be a real eye opener for me (the thoughts of oh shit, im dead as I span round and around at well over 100) I can only hope that numb nuts here and maybe some of the other participants wake up a little after these deaths.

Sorry Splatspeed, BBC did. Proper forest and tarmac rallies that licenced crews compete on here and abroad get virtually nil TV coverage, especially news, yet because of the extreme antics of the Gumball participants they get plenty. Leading to Nic's statement that thats what Joe Public thinks now a rally is.

It may be that the TV overemphasize the extreme antics and paint a blacker picture of the Gumball. I don't want to see anything banned per se but I don't want my sport to be lumped in to the same thing as Gumball just because of the word 'rally'
