So i was heading home last night - Sunday night, every boy racer wants to race - i obliged a few 
Anyway the last stretch and mod'd Clio is given it plenty next to me - but I don't bite - cruising at 70 (slightly above the limit) and let him go - though up ahead i see the lights are green, so push it a bit more to easily clear the lights - then turn off into the local petrol station. Notice that a car has followed me in. ooops
Left the car running, just in case - guy (plain cloths - but wearing a belt, cuffs etc) leans in - "can you switch the engine off sir" ooops
"Sir, I was following on you the A.. and can you tell me what happened with that Clio that appeared to be racing you ... "
me .. "eerr"
"Can you tell me one thing ... why did you let him beat you !! ""
Turns out the guy is CID and loves vettes, he has a Mustang - so we talked cars for about 5 mins
