Caught speeding twice in two weeks!

Clean licence for twenty years, and now caught on the same section of road (Leighton Buzzard bypass) by a mobile camera van twice in as many weeks!

Yes, I know I shouldn't speed, but it's a fast open road and the Lexus is very very quiet at any speed up to 80/100mph!

No complaining as such, just had to share!

I've just sent back an NIP for the same place, but just the once. Interesting to note that the four permanant cameras have now all been covered up with bags, wonder if they've faced a load of opposition to them, or just haven't got around to getting them connected yet...

Where were you done, on the bit between the junctions, or near one of them?

Today was in between the two junctions, the first one was after both junctions (85mph that time, not sure what speed they will have measured me at today).

BTW. Local gossip is that the covers come off the fixed cameras tomorrow!

Bugger - I crossed over the Stanbridge turn this morning on the way to work, and saw the van that seemed to be driving off, otherwise I would have put something up here. I take it you won't be signing the NIP's?

So now the covers are coming off, will we see an end to the vans use? No, I didn't think so.....
