harlow, petrol stations...

Ive noticed, in more than one petrol station, that a police car is parked up at the side ALL the time in Harlow, and there are also a lot of CCTV not ANPR, camera vans parked up on the forecourt.

This is especially the case in 2 filling stations very near the M11.

Whats the news?

they are there all the time- I go past at some fairly random times and they are always there....

When a filling station gets nailed by people filling up and driving off without paying an old/spare car gets dumped on the forecourt to put people off.

Was in Harlow yesterday (unfortunately) and saw one of these up by the M11 junction. Wondered myself what was going on.

Very common these days. First saw this done at a staiton on the A449 near Kidderminster 7-8 years ago.
