Those big yellow hatched areas sometimes found on roundabouts... we aren't allowed to stop in them are we?

I had a lady today beeping and gesturing at me with her middle finger because I chose to stop before not in one, just wanted to make sure I had done the right thing...

Highway code rule 150 said:
Box junctions. These have criss-cross yellow lines painted on the road (see Other road markings section). You MUST NOT enter the box until your exit road or lane is clear. However, you may enter the box and wait when you want to turn right, and are only stopped from doing so by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right. At signalled roundabouts you MUST NOT enter the box unless you can cross over it completely without stopping.
Law TSRGD regs 10(1) & 29(2)

It is a signalled roundabout, I crossed the white line as the lights were green and I stopped before the box junction as the next lights were red and I couldn't exit the box junction till they turned green due to traffic so I think I did the right thing. Thanks!

No you didn't. The correct thing to do would have been to get out of your car and kick the revolting slag in the cvnt.

I got called a cvnt last week by a pillock in a van for not advancing into a yellow box junction on Holloway Road (I was going straight on and my exit was blocked for several minutes). Will that show up on CCTV? No, but it would have if I'd gone into the box.

There's a great yellow box near me, where you can be prevented from turning right by traffic waiting to turn right...but not the same right as you are turning.

One day a bus is going to object to me being there.
