Signed the petition. What ever happened to the Great British sense of justice. Seems to have skulked off somewhere in a huff.

Petition signed.

I wonder how much taxpayers money has already been wasted on bringing this absurd "case" to court?

I'll sign too!

Can't believe that any police officer would start an action like this - are we missing some vital information that hasn't been given out?

If not, then the case must be dropped and the copper re-educated!

More to the point, the people pursuing this prosecution should lose their jobs!

If any normal people left their common sense at home and went to work like this, I bet they would be signing on the week after!

As has been pointed out, the only good reason for this going to court would be to set a precedent that this is OK for live organ/blood transportation.

I can't believe they just want their £60.....

I would have thought a better more practical answer would be for someone of intelligence to consider the merits of allowing ANY vehicle on this type of emergency to go abouts it business, and make the necessary legislative change to allow it.
FFS the country is run for the benenfit of its inhabitants not to satify some control-freaks idea of the perfect bureacratic society....or am i wrong

Sorry, I fail to see the link between the choice of Lincs police / CPS to pursue a prosection and PhoneyTony.... This is a case of over zealous prosecutors and has little to do with Central Government. I somewhat doubt that PhoneyTony sits down on a daily basis and reviews this type of thing to piss-off as many people as possible.... Central Government is a has a steering (some people think that even this is somewhat limited) and do not micro manage every single think like this....

Cheers,

Paul

Just filled in my details on the petition.
Obviously didn't sign it as it was electronic.
Wonder if it can be used as evidence of my support?
