Selling Car Abroad

I am selling one of my cars, I have had an enquiry from someone in France, they seem very keen and wish to view the car on Friday, what are the implications ie v5 etc?

I think you just fill in the correct name and address details on the V5 as though you were selling it in the UK. Ask the new owner whether he wants you to tick the "permanently exported" box.
Phone up DVLA and ask. When I phoned the other day ( about something completley different ) I was surprised how helpful they were ( that is after getting through the automated switchboard and getting to speak to a real person ).
I am sure someone who has sold abroad before will be along in a minute.

Just be wary of the usual scams operated by 'overseas buyers'..
