Boy, 13, admits drink-driving

A 13-year-old boy crashed a stolen car while over the drink-drive limit after consuming three cans of lager and half a bottle of Bacardi, a court has heard.

The youth, who cannot be named, raced the Rover 216 car through a residential estate at speeds of up to 60mph.

At Worthing Youth Court, the boy from Littlehampton admitted driving over the limit and aggravated vehicle taking.

He was given an eight-month referral order under which he may come face to face with any victims of the offences. His mother was ordered to pay £200 compensation.

Neighbours had watched in horror as the boy performed hand brake turns and screeched the car round corners during the incident on June 2 this year at Littlehampton, West Sussex.

He eventually crashed the car through a brick wall and garden fence before ending up in the front garden of a house.

Onlookers then took the boy to a local police station.

Hang him high! What the hell are they thinking about?!? He should not have had access to either liquor or a car at thirteen years of age and to use both simultaneously, illegally, and irresponisbly demonstrates adequate stupidity for immediate elimination from the British genetic pool.

At thirteen, one should know not to drink, or to drive. Doing both indicates a total lack of respect for himself, his town, and all Britain. Hang him while you've got the chance!
