ive just received a parking ticket from over a month ago

i remember it well i pulled into a layby in a high street dropped the mrs off to do some shopping a parking attendant was having a row with the car driver in front of me so i sat and watched for about 2 or 3 min the other car drove off and when the attendant realised i was watching started looking at me and started entering stuff into his machine anyway i just drove off and as i pulled out i noticed he took a picture,

now

he most certainly didnt issue a ticket nothing printed i could see and nothing remotely was issued onto the car

what proof is a pic of a car driving away ??

Exactly.

Do you have time on your hands, and balls?

...(the latter need not be in your hands.)

If so, fight them. Fight them on the beaches, the laybys, the residents parking areas, and the single yellow lines. We will never be beaten.

I thought they have to issue the ticket for it to be valid, from traffic wardens anyway??

Contest it, say you dropped the wife off and drove straight off. They usually send the pic of your car parked up with the ticket attached (did when I contested one), and obviously they wont have one.

the thing is even if i wanted to drive off straight away i couldnt as the traffic in the road was at a stand still too because they was watching what was going on too

if he did get a pic it was of me half in the road and certanly not with a ticket on

London or not? In London they don't have to physically attach a ticket to the car but in the rest of the country they do.

Fight 'em, you have a witness that you weren't parked and wardens have been proven to lie. You could remind them of what happened the last time NCP tried it on with a faked picture.

Spot on!
Don't pay it simple as that, i have been there so many times never paid one.
Personally i would challenge it, we are to soft in this country with tin pot fines.
