Reading scamera van

The local paper has run a story

Which shows the scamera van using bus stops to perform its tax raising duty. Surely it's illegal even if the bus union says they are allowed to use the stop ?

This is just the problem, as MC rightly points out, speeding twats are a problem.
Just a little clarification tho, speeding dosent automatically make you a twat!

Well at least two people have been run over and killed by buses to my knowledge in that area over the past 10 years or so. No doubt this government could work those statistics into an argument for banning buses from built up areas, just because they are dangerous when moving.

Whatever the merits of using a speed camerea van in this area, according to the highway code....

"DO NOT park your vehicle or trailer on the road where it would endanger, inconvenience or obstruct pedestrians or other road users. For example, do not stop
1.Near a school entrance
2.Anywhere you would prevent access for Emergency Services
3.At or near a bus stop or taxi rank".

Same rules for all?
