Followed a nissan micra the other day with a bumper sticker proclaiming "Kill Your Speed!"

This car was doing at least 40+ in a 30

Then it was doing 60ish in a 40

Then 30 in a 20

Not that I really care as the last two were stupidly low limits for the situation, in fact the 60 was only recently changed to a 40. Just wish people wouldnt display bumper stickers proclaiming their beliefs then totally ignore them. Tossers hehe

Well, if you take your TVR to one of the main dealers for a service, they will lend you a Micra for the day!

About two years ago I followed (at increasing distance) a Volvo with a sticker campaigning for a reduced speed limit along the road we were driving. The female driver was travelling at some 10mph above the speed limit. I later learned that she was the leading light in the campaign for the reduced limit! Sadly, I never met the lady face-to-face - Streaky

Completely OT..but as a school kid (what a memory!)I once boarded an EYMS bus in Hull bound for Hessle...on the side of the bus it advertised " A MARS a day helps you work rest and play"..I asked the conductor (yes they had them in those days) for a single to Hessle Square and a Mars bar...he clipped my lug hole and ordered me off the bus for being a cheeky little 'arstard' when I argued they advertised them so they should sell them!laugh

witnessed a classic example of the speed kills mentality a few weeks ago. Sat waiting to turn right at a traffic light controlled t junction. The guy in front had his MPV plastered with Speed kills, THINK, Kill your speed not a child sticker. Anyway, the car in the left hand filter started to move off (we were still on red) and the MPV driver in front also starts to move off through a red light. A car coming from our left managed to brake and swerve around the idiot through use of the footpath. The guy in the MPV held his hand on the horn and shook his head at the legal driver whose good driving had prevented an accident. I flashed my lights at the MPV driver and shook my head at him and he turned round and gave me the rods! Absolutely ing fuming just relating the story! Having said that, despite nearly causing a serious accident he never actually broke the speed limit.....

There was a part of me that wished he had been T-boned (glad for the innocent motorist that he wasn't of course) just so I could have given the police a detailed eye witness account of this muppets driving!
