Whenever i see a scamera van i always drop my speed to 26-28mph as i dont trust accuracy of either my speedo or the scamera vans equipment. Could i ever be done for going too slow?

In theory yes, I think it is S3 of the RTA but Von will be along soon to clarify - i.e. you are impeding other traffic.

However, in todays climate, I doubt it very much, more likely to get a medal.

We have lots of speed cameras around here and I find that most people think they have to be going way below the speed limit 'just to be sure' . So its not unusual to be in a queue going past a camera at ~15mph (indicated so probably 12ish real). I go past at a GPS 30 ish every time when not in a queue, I just know the car behind me that slows down to 15 is muttering 'nutter' under his breath as I zoom along at such excessive speed. Of course they soon catch me up when I continue to do 30 and they speed back up to 40+....

Think VH is on RD or AL today so....

S 3 Road Traffic Act 1988

Careless, and inconsiderate, driving:

If a person drives a motor vehicle on a road without due care and attention, OR

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv

without reasonable consideration for other persons using the road, he is guilty of an offence.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Doubt they would get it home under circs described.

Why do you do that? why not go by at an indicated 30-32? The chances of getting done at that speed at extremely low.
