Staggering how there so often appear to be multiple codes with effectively the same description; how does that work?
Exactly, as an example:CD10 Driving without due care and attention.......... 3-9
CD20 Driving without reasonable consideration for other road users.......... 3-9
CD30 Driving without due care and attention or without reasonable consideration for other road users.......... 3-9
So CD30 is effectively CD10 OR CD20. Unless it's meant to mean a CD10 AND a CD20 in which case it should say AND rather than OR.

Driving Offence Codes and Penalty Points
1) SP60 was discontinued in late 2005,
2) There's no code for furious driving under the Offences Against the Person Act, which are now endorsable.
DR60
Failure to provide a specimen for analysis in circumstances other than driving or attempting to drive..........

What the hell is this one all about, it looks like they can give you 10 points on your licence just for being drunk and telling them where to go! And why should you have to provide a sample if you are not going to drive, and what the hell has it got to do with your driving licence.
Would somebody please answer this, as this code just looks like police state control freakery to me. Actually whilst most of these codes look very sensible there are one or two others that look a bit like this as well, they appear to be worded in such a way that you could be "fitted up".

Presumably used where the suspect was "in charge". Disqualification is not mandatory as it is with driving or attempting to drive.Failure to provide a specimen for analysis in circumstances other than driving or attempting to drive..........

I thought the most interesting one, which I think is known ... if you go to a pub and have one too many drinks and then sleep it off in your car, you can be done if a policeman knocks on your window.
BTW, I actually think if you drive, zero is the limit -
