For Trucks Sake
Lorry driver given flags warning
A lorry driver who had six flags and pendants blocking his view through the windscreen of his cab has been stopped and warned by police.
The man, who has not been named, was driving a 44-tonne articulated lorry when he was pulled over by Central Scotland Police, near Falkirk.
Police said his actions were "just sheer stupid" and put his life and the lives of other road users at risk.
The driver has now been reported to the Traffic Commissioner for Scotland.
The vehicle was immediately taken off the road and the driver forced to remove the items.
A report submitted by Central Scotland Police to the Traffic Commissioner stated his visibility was "seriously reduced due to the presence of six flags within the cab"

Be better if they stopped foreign lorry drivers with the big laptop still on the dashboard
Or the literally hundreds of small passenger cars I see every day when out and about with a CD hanging off the rear view mirror.
What exactly is that about? I used to see this a lot in West Yorkshire...

Urban myth about it reflecting the speed laser.
When pub chat goes wrong...
If that is what it is, shouldn't they face the same charges for PCJ as the guy with the garage door opener? When pub chat goes wrong...
He inadvertantly committed PCJ (if believed) whereas they are deliberately attempting to do the same, however misguided...
Hmm. Pendants mean points ...
Whilst on the subject, hypothetically if one were accused of using a laser detector device (especially one that had had its laser detection functionality disabled) would the prosecution have to prove that it worked in order to prosecute successfully?
Or would suspicion be enough?

If the cd is to confuse BiB and the 20-20 , I cannot wait see a BiB throwing his gun to the ground in a frenzy as Cilla is heard .
