As I was leaving an area just below Western-Super-Mare today I was trundeling along on the bike in a 30 limit at 30, and just before the 40 limit began I saw 2 yellow jacketed people pointing somthing at the traffic.

"They look a bit like policemen" I thought to myself and then the jammer went beeeeeeep!

So I double checked my speed and switched the jammer off, then carried on my merry way.

Its a shame that I will not know if it worked or not as I was travelling below the posted speed limit. But at least it made all the right noises.

We shall never know until the 7th of July when I get it tested

The fact they were standing on the 40 limit getting people that were accelerating up in preperation to go 40 pissed me off but the biggest annoyance is that I passed a school / day care center in the 30 about 1/4 of a mile back! The fkers were clearly more interested in people speeding up to the 40 in an area surrounded almost entirely by fields!!!!!

No nononononnono it must be because the kids from the school have to walk the 1/4 mile to cross the road at the 30-40 mph interface.

Hmmm..maybe not!

you will only know if it doesnt work.

Sounds like it did work. The jammers are usually reliable.

from experience i would advise that you keep the jammer off for as much time as possible.

ie in towns at a 30 or 40 when you shouldnt be speeding anyway. ut put it on when you do give it welly in appropriate circumstances.

So when you do get zapped in a 30 or 40 but are not speeding you wont arrouse (oooerrr misses ) suspicion and also cos you dont need it on then anyway.

We need to keep stumm about jammers as much as poss - its our private GOD.

(ps I was alone in the wilderness for about 2 weeks at one stage, did I feel naked without it) Have alook in previous threads on perverting v of J etc..
