Snapped by Gatso whilst driving in opposite direction

Hi there

Whilst driving on a single carriageway I got snapped by a Gatso on the opposite side of the road. Clearly the stupid thing wasn't aligned properly. I understand that the road markings are there to estimate speed, but were obviously on the other lane. However could I still be done as I was going fast enough to trip it? Any comments would be greatly appreciated

No, you can't get done by a GATSO facing you. I should know, i used to try and set off all the opposing cameras on the A90 to keep me amused when i travelled to Glasgow, haven't seen a ticket yet.
