Riding eastbound on the A47 Friday morning I observed a scene of devastation to my left. Some scum have invaded a field (which they access by just driving off the A47 at no junction right into the field) couple of caravans, a generous covering of rubbish throughout the field, a few washing machines on their sides, broken down cars, etc.

They've been there for months with nothing much apparently happening to have them prosecuted for the multiple crimes they're obviously guilty of (littering, trespassing, motoring offence of driving off the road where there's no junction, etc, etc)

I glanced down at my speedo and observed that I might be banned for what number it was displaying.

So there I am. Tax payer, homeowner, worker, producer, net contributor to UK plc in danger of having my livelihood taken away for what amounts to a documentation error (failing to display the right number on my speedo), watching the results of the continued work of scum causing damage and nuisance escaping scot free.

How can we have allowed the UK to get into this state? Isn't it time to get frikkin angry about this???

Agreed, but the UK is not the only country suffering from this. In The Netherlands, the police won't even go in the sites unless they are escorted by the army. They normally need to do this periodically to remove the thousands of stolen articles which are sometimes even openly displayed.

But who would you rather deal with - someone with the wrong digit on their speedo or someone who might take your name from your badge and pay you a visit later on ...

You know, they are the one proper argument FOR ID cards - "no ID = get the **** out of our country by the nearest exit...oh, and here's the escort there!"

now theres an idea, why not give our squaddies some live target practice?

Challenger tank v pikey encampent would be worth watching to, they should put it on pay-per-view, would probably fund the uk military for a few months on the proceeds!

Uh, because they are a minority, and thus are protected under law.

Because it would expose UK Plod to unnecessary danger.
dealing with the problem.

Far better to be back in the office
filling in some forms about young Kevin
the Chav who has just been arrested for
the 237th time and still doesn't get
into prison because the prisons
are full.

The irony is they are protected by the host society that they shun.

Willing to abuse the benefit off the system but make no contribution to it.

It seems that if you choose to be outside of the law, then it does not apply.

Utter disgrace.

An "ethnic Minority"!!!! This country is a complete joke, we need someone like Rudy Giuliani, the ex-mayor of New York, not the weak dross we have governing this country or the equally poor and incompetant opposition!!!!

No its not. Despite all the huffing and puffing most of the persons people talk about not be allowed in the country are here legally. They would be given IDs cards on entry (or will be British Citzens to start with). Further unlike you they won't be asked to cough up £100 for their card.

ID cards will not help with immigration, they will not help with terrorism nor will it help for benefit fraud. In short it will cost £20B of tax payers money and not help any of the areas it is supposedly being introduced for.

Bank robbers are also a minority who clearly believe in living by a different set of values, yet they seem to be persecuted by the law. Why not this lot?

Well if you were riding east on the A47... I can only conclude that you are from Great Yarmouth, and therefore deserve everything you get.

It's not personal... it's that cruel woman I was dating from there... but i'm not bitter much...

I'm sick of this country. Everywhere I go I get persecuted by speeding motorists and other dangerous law-breakers just for trying to settle down for a while, I can't help the life I was born into. Police come raiding our property. I don't pay their wages, or elect them, what right have they got?

Sod this, I'm moving to the Netherlands!
