we are going down to the south coast for a couple of weeks hols, and I am concerned about the trip down (ie camera sites). My route will be the M74, M6, M1, M25 then M20. Are there any particular 'hotspots' I should be aware of? Not that I am planning to horse it or anything, but sitting at 70 for that length of journey is a bit frustrating to say the least. We are going in the boring Eurobox, and I do not have any speed detection (except my eyes )

Advice please .........

Don't know about the M6 but...

M1 watch it thru Notts
M1 just after M10, SPECS
M25 variable speed (12 cameras between M40 and M3)

Presumably you won't be going on the M25 by the M40 and M3 as thats the long way round!

There is, or was SPECs on the M20 around the Eurotunnel juction, where there are roadworks.

I will be going east via the Dartford tunnel.

Do they do lard sarnies that far south

You could always drive within the specified speed limits then cameras wouldn't concern you

My folks all ate dripping sarnies which must be similar to lard sarnies, and you couldn't live any further south than them without being foreign. Or a fish.

Probably what did Dad in thinking about it.
