Its Best Not To Really...
Discussion
I came up with this idea a few years back
It could still work...
I was hearing so many stories of friends getting busted for what they considered to be minor crimes...
We came up with the idea of 'its best not to really'. If you don't want to get busted don't commit the crime... but its bigger than that and you have to think it through for a moment...
If we all obey the speed limit for a couple of years and don't take drugs or any of that kinda nonsense then eventually there will be no crime and all of the law enforcement agengies will have no revenue and they will go away.
Then we can all start doing the stuff that isn't killing anybody without the worry of getting caught...

Also, they would just keep moving the goalposts. Once you have goal orientated policing, it acquires a momentum all of it's own

they would just keep moving the goalposts.
Then, last year, a speed camera was installed. People continued to drive down there at 40, the road continued to be safe, but this meant the camera wasn't making any money. So the powers-that-be quietly dropped the limit to 30, and scores of NIPs started to pop through letterboxes.
Moral of the story: when there's cash to be made, obedience is futile - they'll find some way of doing you anyway!

You could try moving their goalposts.
