Gatsos on M25 J26

Came back round the M25 tonight and couldn't believe my eyes. In just a few hours 8 Gatsos had appeared! 4 in each direction clockwise from J26 for about a mile. All bright yellow, two with "not in use" bags over but I assume none in use yet.

Perhaps there's roadworks planned so they're getting the essential tools there early , but no signs so I don't know.

Thanks for that, I do that trip quite a lot.

Where can we buy a load of those "not in use" bags cheaply?

Nope none there Im afraid.

But you can instead own your own speed camera!

Just heard it is in readiness for roadworks - apparently the M25 tunnel near the M11 junction is falling down and needs major work that will require it to be shut for up to a year!!! Obviously they'll do one side at a time, with contraflows. The cameras will never catch anyone - the traffic will be permanently clawling.

Don't they put them on the hard shoulder phones through roadworks sometimes???
