Different Road Angles
Discussion
Hi there,
Question on Road Angels:
Fire Box are doing the Road Angle without the Laser Alert for £299.
Other places are doing the Road Angel with the Laser Alert for ~ £399.99
However, Blackspot.com are doing the Laser Alert for £39.95
My question is, what else does the Fire Box version lack or is it worth getting the Road Angel from Fire Box for £299 and then the Laser Alert from Black Spot for £39.95?
(Finally, is it actually worth getting the Laser Alert at all?!)
TIA

I got my Road Angel from Firebox.com and AFAIK there are no other differences apart from the laser detector, which I was not bothered about because they are no use.
One tip though, I think the ones at Firebox are old stock ( Road Angel don't sell them without the Laser detector now ) so the software that is on it is very out of date. When I got mine I used it without downloading the latest version and it missed a couple of new camera's. Luckly this was only on my test run so I knew they were there. Since updating the software it hasn't missed any.
I'm very pleased with it and it's already payed for itself as I went to The British SuperBikes at Rockingham at the weekend and on the way home it warned me about a camera right on a bend, which I would probably have missed.
