Police Attitude to Speeding.
Discussion
This shocking, but unsuprising quote [1] deserves a wider reading:
This really gets my goat. I've never seen any speed enforcment in a place where it is required. Ever seen a camera/radar gun in a town centre.
The Talivan stay on the motorways where they can get revenue. Motorways are the safest roads I know. It's hard to see how speed could cause a crash on the M/W. There's f**k all to hit. All the crashes on the M23 are due to observation of lorries shedding loads.
We need a campaign of civil disobedience.
I'll join the planned M25 go slow.

The cops are uninterested in residential streets. I quote:
"The police do not wish to speed camera monitor these residential streets as they cannot 'net off' the fines and there is no profit in it for them.
