both caught by a GATSO?

Had my cruise-control set at 77-78mph on the A90 and this has never before triggered any of the dozen or so Gatso's on this stretch of dual carriageway. Today, having gone past about three or so at this speed with the cruise on, i was overtaken by a a car in the outside line going slightly faster and we got the double flash. Could we both potentially get a NIP?
