I've been running an anti parking scam scheme of my own for quite some time now.

I carry a wheel clamp in the boot - I ditch my car anywhere I fancy, clamp it and put the little yellow envelope under the wiper and hey presto no problem.

...and me! I bought a white van knocked a back window out and painted "THINK!" on the sides.

Remember being called out to a littl'old lady who had collapsed and stopped breathing at home. Screeched to a halt outside the door and rushed in. Got daughter to call emergency ambulance and started CPR. Next door neighbour walks in the open door and completely ignored what I was doing to tell me that I was being ticketed outside. He then went out to tell him I was a doctor and point out there was a duly authorised doctor emergency tag clearly visible on the front dashboard.
Ambulance eventually turns up about ten mins later and carts the woman off to hospital. I go out to find a parking ticket on my car with the next door neighbour saying that warden put the ticket on despite being told! Driving back to the surgery I spotted the warden and ignored my first inclination to drive over him. When I asked he to justify his actions he said he understood I was a doctor on an emergeny call and had a duly authorised parking permit, but that in my ruch to stop the car I have parked across the patients driveway and that it had therefore voided my parking permit.
When you think that the ambulance must have nearly run him down while he was ticketing my car, you have to end up admiring his persistence.

Got a parking ticket today however i've used this car park for 3 years and never once paid. I've had 4 tickets at £15 each (if paid promptly). Therefore i've saved aprox £3 per week thats about £150 per year times 3 = £450 - 60 (for tickets) = £390 in pocket. that 600 litres of overpriced petrol! they're going to have to issue me with a lot more tickets to recoup the money!
