Apparently not in France and from "summer" not in Spain either. How this plays when it is a dealer-fitted (or better still, a factory-fitted) option, I don't know. The fact the Peugeot is French might give the Gendarmerie something to think about ... but, if you're British, they won't think for too long before imposing a fine, confiscating the device and possibly your car too - Streaky
