Origin B2 Driver Information system

Can anyone give their experience using the Origin B2 of the following:

Difference between car speedo and Origin B2 readout. ie Held at a steady speed of 70mph. (not the delay)

Unable to find satellite after the unit is stored off the cradle for a length of time. It does not have a very positive/firm fit in the cradle.

I don't have one, but I read somewhere that the cradle fit problem could be fixed by taking the magnet out of the cradle and turning it round. Hope this makes sense!!

I would suggest that this is going to be down to how accurate your car speedo is rather than any other factors. This will be different even in cars of the same make/model/year.

It's difficult to know which one to trust as the car speedo reads 70mph, the Origin B2 display is 65mph. At 80mph (car speedo) Origin Display is 75mph.

Anyone else had this variation ?

It's the same with the Road Angel.

On mine for example - I'm 3 or 4 mph over what the speedo tells me. 30mph on speedo = 27mph on the Road Angel. On other cars the difference is smaller, and others a bigger variation.

Which is the most accurate?

Since the GPS is doing lightspeed calculations based on velocity i would have to say (accounting for the delay) that the GPS is the most accurate...

I know bugger all other than laymans on this stuff. Anyone in the GPS knowhow?
