One for the BiB really - we all know there's a treshold of KSI stats needed in order to setup a speedtrap.

Does this mean that there needs to be 2 incidents where someone is seriously injured, or if 2 people travelling in the same car are injured in one incident, does this count?

IE joyriders - high probability the accident is due to speed and high possibility of KSI incident. Can a speedtrap be setup due to one carload of joyriders going off the road (a la Limehouse link).

YES! And this is part of the scam. The ksi figures include those ILLEGAL drivers as having a "normal" accident, when the reality is theyre being persued (correctly IMHO) by the police and they crash and burn.
How can that then be considered a "normal" speed related death?
It isnt, and it just shows the true extent these scambags will go, to ensure a revenue generation project...er oops, "safety camera " is installed!
Ive already pulled one or two of them about this but they NEVER respond coherently!

I really must find time to campaign on this, and write all the necessary letters. It seems to me that if people are speeding but also drunk, or disqualified, or indeed never passed a test, if they are being chased by the Police then those accidents shouldn't be included as the driver could well be incapable of driving in the first place.
