How about this.

Since they normally target about 400 - 600 meters away and the beam divergence is about a car and a half width at that point.

What if someone were to stand at the side of a road at the maximum angle with a LRC-100 or a SLD-920(x) pointing at the van (wired to a car battery in a rucksack or somthing) - would that not block it out.

And if Munstable Wilson were to appear then just bugger off into the bushes (oooerrr)

Would this work?

Not in Reading - they still use radars

How about using a mirror or lens to deflect the beam upwards into space so they can start picking up those earthbound asteroids we should be so worried about?? (For those who watched Horizon on BBC2 last night in the UK)

I thought all vans were lasers as they can't be accurate enough with a radar, or am I missing the point.

You could park your own car in front of the van, (nicely out of the way, so he can still target motorists) but still in his beam, with your jammer on full song, then engage in a 3 hour debate on the merits of speed enforcement...

(n.b, I don't own a lazer jammer, but I can dream...)

Or you could just do what this chap is and stand down the road with a sign warning people...
