OK, me and the missus hire out bouncy castles. Currently we are insured on the Mondeo we use to tow the trailer they live on, business insurance with her as main driver and me as the spouse etc etc.

If I came off the insurance and only drove the car (and the trailer) with 3rd party cover off my car's comprehensive insurance, would I be covered for business use?

And, if this doesn't make me sound really thick if I'm the named driver on my wife's business insurance, am I covered comprehensive or third party on the Mondeo?

DOH!

Please, please tell me you have a "Sidney Snake" style bouncy castle as featured in Phoenix Nights?

Unfortunately no, the most adventurous we get is Thomas The Tank Engine.

As named driver on your wife's comp business insurance you have the same level of cover unless the policy says otherwise.

If you come off the policy you mighr have a problem trying to use your own insurance from another vehicle to cover you 3p. All down to "ownership". They might argue that you own the vehicle, and the V5 won't help to prove otherwise (proves the keeper, not owner).
