Hi all,

I have a friend (no it wasn't me ) who was on one of the 3 lane bits of the A1, she had a bmw giving her hassle, so she took it upto 120!, the bmw then got passed and she slowed to a mere 104, then a t5 sitting on an overpass made haste and pulled her over. After trying the 'I'm an innocent girly card' it came down to a see you in court jobby.

I know (or believe) that anything over 100 is a ban, so what are the chances of getting this reduced to 9 points (higher fine) or 12 points but keeping the license?? and how would she go about doing it?, also what sort of ban/fine would she be looking at?

To keep the license she is going to have to come up with a damned good reason for keeping it i.e. she has a family that depends on her income that absolutely requires a car.

Otherwise its the bus...
