White Ford Escort van with orange flashing lights, seen about an hour ago (1pm) on both sides of the A1058, facing ONCOMING traffic heading towards Newcastle, and facing the same way on the opposite side of the carriageway about 30mins later.

Looks like there was a bloke in the back with a box, certainly wasn't our friendly local ANPR van, plus this ties up with new inductive loops having been installed into the road recently.

Be aware, I *think* I'm ok but I went past a bit more than the (artificially low) 50mph limit, however the 306's speedo overreads for fun so we'll see...

Nope, mum just got in and the ominous letter was sitting waiting...

"Dear Mrs xxx, a vehicle registered to you with the registration mark R*** FWK was observed in excess of the posted speed limit on the A1058 Coast Road, on the 2nd September 2003"

58 in a 50, with the offer of three bonus points and £60... bastards

And since I'm skint, I'm going to roll over and let them me as I can't afford to go to court... still - by the time I'm 26 they'll be expired hey!?!

Heh, I had an amusing thought just a little while ago. What would be the charge for stopping beside this scamera van and spray painting his LTI-20/20. It can't be obstruction of an officer as he's a civilian...

Rage - building...
Desire to necklace - increasing...

I feel like I'm turning into.... DELTAF!!!

Thnaks for the warning - I thought they were all transits.

I have been looking to buy another Cerb, but I think i'll buy a unimog instead - and smack the feckers right up the arse at around 30mph.

I'll be ok as i'm in a truck and I wasn't speeding.
