Motorway Hardshoulder - Correct terminology

There have been many threads recently about the Hardshoulders on the Motorway.
Apart from the BiB on here, does anyone know the correct name for the continuous White line that separates the Hard shoulder from the main carriageway?

Please dont think that in showing off but in sure that you agree that it would be nice to know.
