Is it possible to find the driver of another car?

Here is the scenario, girlfriend was driving her Micra and stopped at a roundabout and had another car drive in to the back of her. It was low speed and no one was hurt so she didn't get the drivers name or address, but she did get the registration number. When she got home I had a look at the car and the rear bumber is pushed in and has a small split in it, so we now want to get in touch with the other driver to get insurance details etc and get the car fixed.

Is there any way of finding the owners address from the registration number only?

Thanks for your help

Just report it to your insurance and let them sort it out

Yes is it possible.

In my line of work we often have to try and find out details of a cars owner. The DVLA will (for a small fee) disclose this information, BUT, you need to have a good reason for doing so. A crime number from the police is what we have to provide, they will not disclose details to anyone.
