Friend just got off rather well.
"Turbo nutter" bike, measured doing "between 65 and 90" in a 40
Got stopped - court appearance
They only read out the "65" bit
Told the beak that he had sold the bike (shame about the other one....), and had "modest" means (*cough*)
Ended up with 3 point + £60 fine + £25 costs.
Someone was looking down on him!
