I was with Telewest for the broadband internet service last year but had a lot of connection problems so i disconnected my service, this year i thought i would give them a second chance.I deliberately didn't send away the contract i was to sign just incase i had any connection problems this time around. So,subsequently i've been having the same connection problems and i called them saying i wanted the service disconnected, they said i couldn't and that if i did terminate the contract i would have to pay a lump sum for the rest of the years contract?10 months at £25 a pop's worth.I said i hadn't returned the signed contract with them and they said the fact i had given them word of mouth in the first place to have it installed was binding as a verbal contract? Is this correct?any help appreciated, thanks!

had the same with ntl they suck .

they tryed the same with me.

1 you aint signed it son no contract.
2 to hold you two it virbaly they would have to prov that the minum time was explained too you.

they will have problems with that.
3 they have been unable to provide you with a resonable service there have breached there contract with you.

so if it was me i would tell em too shove it.

i did when up too ntl office with the modem and tcv box

and told em to get the e that spoke to me on the phone down.

they said what i want him for i said to ram this modem up his arss.

he bricked it and woulden come down.

end of it was large refund problem finaly fix and an apolgey for the mouth on phone about contract.

and it in writing to me that |I could cancel my contract any time I like.

ps give me a bit more information on exactly what problems you are having with the conection.

any may be i may be able to sugest what the cause of the problem is.
