Puzzling incident with BiB

Me and Judas had just pulled on to the road to our village after popping up to Joospeed today from the M1. The road is a big long ski jump style thing, long straight downhill, long straight uphill. As we were going uphill (its a 40 and we were doing about 35 as there were quite a few other cars) I noticed blue lights coming down the hill behind me so I pull over. there were several cars behind me which did the same.

BiB then proceeds to overtake them and pull in and stop behind me. He gets out of his car and gets a square black bag out his boot then farts around a bit more with it (in the meantime I stay put thinking I have been pulled).

I turn the engine off and wait for him to come over. He then gets back in the car and roars off past me (still with blues going).

My question is WTF was that about? Admittedy on the M1 we were making progress and could have slipped past the limit without noticing while we were overtaking of course . But it was just wierd!

So if I have been caught "making progress" why didn't he speak to me? Is this normal as it has never happened to me before?

No idea what he was doing, but he would have spoke to you if you had fractured a law or two I'm sure. I wouldn't worry about it.

I expect the black bag was keeping a pizza warm and he was on his way back to the station.

Just getting his shotty out of the boot for the next call , changing the tape on the recording gear , perhaps, as already been said, he was jsut making sure the pizza was staying warm .
