On the news this morning they said these new digital scameras in the Blackwall Tunnel are being switched on this morning. They went on to say that just 2% of the drivers obey the speed limit through there.

They didn't say that 98% of drivers went on to crash though.

Why does not one person on the councils or wherever these idiot decisions are being made stand up and point out the obvious?

Surely these decisions are made in a room with several supposed experts discussing the issues, or is there just one or two loony liberals there shouting "You mean you want to see MORE of our children being killed on the roads"? and slapping down anyone with common sense?

Are these meetings minuted anywhere? I'd love to see the kind of logic that says 98% of motorists on a stretch of road are going to have an accident when, what, less than 0.01% probably do?
