Noticed a lot more of you on the road recently on my daily commute. I welcome this as I think it's far more likely to result in an actual change in people's driving than gatsos. If you're in a position to tell me, is there something specific behind this, or just a general increase in funding?

Steve.

According to David Blunderit (Blunkett), there are record numbers of police in England and Wales now.

He also says he wants most of them to be on the streets.
(Quoted from BBC Ceefax)

I guess most of them work for the Met. Police as they get London weighting plus other allowances.

Still very few police visible here. The only one I have ever seen is the one that lives in my road.
