Caught speeding six months ago

I was caught by a scamera van 6 months ago in Aberdeen.

When the NIP arrived they made a mistake on the road names so I sent it back telling them. They then sent me a fixed penalty notice that I ignored.

As six months has now elapsed since the offence date should I be ok ?

As I live in Scotland I think the law maybe different ?

Any advise appreciated.

If they mistyped the road names, then they missed their chance (had to be sent within two weeks of the 'offence'
