Time limits- NIP FPN- can somebody clear this up

I've searched the forums for this answer but failed to find it.

What are the time limits (i.e. when can we forget about getting points/fines) on FPN's and NIP's. Is it 6 months from date of offence, date of NIP or date of FPN? Or is it longer than 6 months.

dont know why you couldent find it its all over the forum.

they have 6 from the date of the offence to lay the detils out to the court.

the summons can be served years later.

but after six or more your ushall ok.
